Civil War Store Card - Broas Pie Baker MS63BN (NGC 2619289-004) ... F-630M-12a. An interesting commentary on the brutal necessity of the times: while Uncirculated, this token appears damaged, however this is actually due to extremely damaged dies, showing multiple clashes, heavy die cracks and die chips. Interestingly enough, one of the obvious clashes is from a different Reverse die than used on this token, as it clearly shows the tips of a "War Bonnet" such as used on a number of other issues. |

Civil War Store Card - Broas Brothers MS62BN (NGC 2619289-005) ... F-630L-5a. A more common design combination: an Army/Navy die combined with an "Indian Head" Reverse. This very dies may be the one that clashed with the shattered die used on the other Broas token listed on this site! |
